Description

U-Cleat is a rubber mooring compensator with a removable locking mechanism. A unique solution where the line needs no free end before installation. This makes it simple to use and provides more options than conventional mooring compensators.

U-Cleat is very easy to attach and remove from mooring lines! It’s also easy to move the compensator along the line or switch it to another one. And now you no longer have to leave your mooring compensators behind when you leave your home jetty.

The compensator is easily fitted on lines with eye splices or thimbles at one or both ends. When it’s time to wash the lines, U-Cleat is easy to remove. The innovative locking mechanism between the rope and compensator provides optimal locking without affecting the strength or durability of the line. The rippled rubber body provides a greater diameter to wrap the rope end around, increasing the maximum travel of the compensator without affecting its other properties.

U-Cleat is made in EPDM rubber with embedded fibreglass reinforced polyamide inserts for enhanced durability and performance. The removable locking wedges are made from fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene.
